Greece is well-known for its stunning beaches, and I have been to so many of them over the years, but sometimes, you just want to get away from the crowds and find a secluded spot to relax. So, in no particular order, I’ve chosen what I believe are the ten most beautiful secluded beaches in Greece.

Elafonisi Beach, which in Greek means “Island of Deer”) is like paradise on earth with pink coral sand and clear crystalline waters. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece and is even ranked one of the most beautiful in the world. 

A few years ago, Elafonisi Beach was not that popular, and only a few people knew about its existence. Nowadays, it has become popular, and it is a must-see for all visitors to Crete. 

This beach is perfect for children, who can play for hours in the shallow warm waters or make sandcastles at the shore. Parents can relax and supervise while enjoying the sun.

2 Psili Amos Beach, Patmos

You can almost guarantee that no one will disturb you on this beach. It sort of has a virgin nature corner without any beach facilities, making it unique. Above is a bar restaurant with a swimming pool, so you won’t walk away hungry. But I would also recommend a picnic basket.

Even families come to enjoy this well-preserved, almost primaeval Greek paradise. Moreover, the abundance of soft sand allows anyone to create real architectural masterpieces. Just don’t forget about the umbrella and the sun protection cream.

7 Adrina Beach, Skopelos

A sublime and immaculate pebble beach with lots of rocky coves for those who desire some solitude. Ftenagia Beach is located behind the small chapel of “Agia Aekaterini” (Saint Catherine). It is accessible either on foot by the rocky path, which starts at the small chapel or by car from the road that passes under the island’s windmills.

Suppose you’re ever in Chalki during August. In that case, you definitely shouldn’t miss the rising of the red moon over the figure of Rhodes island.

9 Kouloura Beach, Corfu

Kouloura Beach is situated next to the picturesque fishing village of the same name and is located 30 km south of Corfu town and about 7km from the beautiful village of Kalami. 

The area is recognized for its undulating area of lush tree forests and the wonderful crystalline bay. Kouloura is arguably one of the most attractive coves on the Ionian island, with small pebbles and a fantastic surrounding of trees and wildlife.

The area is well-sheltered, creating a feeling of total privacy. Despite its small size, sunbeds cover the most significant part of the beach. Still, there are also trees which are a nice alternative to relax under the cool shade. It is an ideal destination for visitors who seek a peaceful holiday, especially for nature lovers who will surely appreciate this fabulous location.
